Notice of Precautions for In-Person Court Proceedings

The Superior Court has implemented precautions consistent with State and local guidelines to promote the safety of everyone  attending court.

The Superior Court has implemented the following precautions consistent with State and local guidelines to promote the safety of everyone  attending court:

  • Hand sanitizing stations have been provided.
  • Masks are required at all times within the courthouse.
  • Room capacity has been limited.
  • Six foot social distancing measures have been utilized.
  • Court times have been staggered.
  • Rooms are disinfected regularly and in-between hearings.

If you or anyone in your housefold is infected with COVID-19, have experienced symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (including cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell), or are in quarantine due to exposure to a person with COVID-19, then contact the Clerk's office to be excused from attending or to have your case continued. You may also be excused from attending or have your case continued if you are a member of an immune-compromised population (or are living with someone who is immune-compromised), are over the age of 65, or have small children but lack child care due to COVID-19.

If you require the assistance of an interpreter, please contact the Clerk's office as soon as possible so that arrangements may be made.
